These Terms govern your use of the My Recovery Support app. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms.
Not a crisis or medical service. The app does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency services. If you are in crisis or may harm yourself or others, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, US) or dial 911 / your local emergency number immediately.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the app.
What the app is
My Recovery Support is a peer and sponsor support tool that helps people in recovery connect, check in, reflect, and track progress. It is an independent app and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, SMART Recovery, Al-Anon, Celebrate Recovery, or any other organization.
Peer connections
The app helps members connect, but we do not employ, vet, credential, or supervise sponsors, mentors, support people, or other members, and we are not responsible for their conduct or advice. Use your own judgment and stay safe when interacting with others.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate information and keep your login secure.
- Be respectful; do not harass, abuse, impersonate, or endanger others.
- Do not post unlawful, harmful, or infringing content, or use the app for any unlawful purpose.
- You are responsible for content you share.
Subscriptions and billing
Some features require a subscription. New accounts include a free trial. Subscriptions are billed through your app store account (Google Play) and managed via Adapty. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends; manage or cancel anytime in your Google Play account settings.
Termination and deletion
You may delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete Account or at myrecoverysupport.com/delete-account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app or interactions with other members.
Changes
We may update these Terms; continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
